How to play PGA Pick'Em Pool

Every tournament week you pick seven golfers. Add up their scores to par: the lowest total wins the week, and every week adds to your season total.

Joining a pool

Invited by your pool admin? You don't need an account first. Open the invitation email from PGAPickEm (subject PGAPickEmPool.com - Invitation) and click the link. Your pool and email are already filled in: choose a username and a password, then click Join. There's no separate sign-up and no confirmation email.

Already logged in? If your pool admin invited your email, you'll see Click Here to Join at the top of the page. Click it, then click Join.

The invitation link only works for the email address it was sent to. Can't find it? Check your spam folder, or ask your pool admin to send it again.

Your seven picks

Each tournament week, open Weekly Pool > Entry Form and tick seven golfers from the field. The form shows every golfer's FedEx Cup rank, points, wins, top-5 and top-10 finishes.

The 20+ rule: at least three of your seven must be ranked 20th or higher (20+), a FedEx Cup rank number of 20 or more (20, 21, 22…). Those rows are highlighted on the entry form.

Fewer than three 20+ golfers? You'll see an error and your entry won't save.

Week 37 - TOUR ChampionshipExample
  1. 1Scottie Scheffler
  2. 9Tommy Fleetwood
  3. 11Rory McIlroy
  4. 14Russell Henley
  5. 21Min Woo Lee 20+
  6. 26Viktor Hovland 20+
  7. 28Adam Scott 20+

Circled numbers = FedEx Cup rank entering the TOUR Championship.

When picks lock

First tee time, first round

Picks lock at the first tee time of the tournament's first round (Eastern). If the first group tees off at 7:00 AM Eastern, every pick locks at 7:00 AM Eastern, even golfers who tee off later.

Change picks until then

You can change your picks as often as you like until the lock. After the lock, only your pool admin in admin mode can change picks.

No picks = even par

If you don't make picks for a tournament, you score even par (0) for that week.

The site runs on Eastern time. All lock times are Eastern.

Scoring

Your score = total to par of your seven

Add up your seven golfers' tournament scores to par. Picks at -9, -5, -6, -3, -4, +3 and -2 make a weekly score of -26.

Missed the cut?

A golfer who misses the cut counts the score they had for the tournament, through the cut. Missed the cut at +3 after two rounds? +3 goes in your total.

Lowest total wins the week

The lowest weekly score in your pool wins the week.

Ties split

If two or more players tie for the lowest score, they split the week.

Scores are loaded from ESPN by the site administrator. Weekly winners and season totals update automatically.

Weekly results example

The Weekly Results page updates while the tournament is played: every player's seven golfers, their scores to par and the total.

Season standings

Every week's score is added to your season total. The lowest season total wins.

A week without picks counts as even par (0), so keep making your picks every tournament week.
